Peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday April 2, 2015 at Southlake Regional Health Centre. Beloved husband of Olga. Loving father of Ryan and Zoë. Dear brother of Marilyn and her husband Ken Pituley, Michael and his wife Franca Simmons and Kevin and his wife Carole Simmons. Predeceased by his parents Reverend John and Aileen Simmons. Doug will be sadly missed by many family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, 905-727-5421 on Monday April 6 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be held at All Saints Anglican Church, 12935 Keele Street, King City on Tuesday April 7 at 12pm.
