She was raised alongside her siblings Stevo (Angela), Slavica (Ivan), Vid (Majda), Branko (Dragica), Ivan (Marica), Juraj (Tina), Nikola (Marica) Drago (Rose) and Ljubica (Josip). She is survived by Her loving husband, Sveto Kantar, Her 2 adoring sons Roman (nee Julie Pinhorn) and Nicholas, 5 courageous and fiercely loyal grandsons, Michael, Lucas, Tyson, Gavrilo and Saša.

On Saturday June 27th, sleeping next to the love of her life, nestled in his arms, feeling protected and safe and filled with love, she peacefully passed away.

She had a passion for life that included a love of the outdoors, foraging for mushrooms, fishing, a genuine kind respect for all living things.

She was creative, artistic and inspirational in her works. She loved to write poetry, sing and dance. Music could be heard from anywhere she could plug in her little red boombox.

She loved her family above all else. She loved her husband. She loved her sons. She loved her grandsons. She loved their friends. She loved her brothers and sisters. Her many nieces and nephews. Her Godchildren. She loved everyone and had a special bond with each of them.

Visitation will take place at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON, L4G 6W8, CA, on July 1, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON, L4G 6W8, on July 2, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

A Committal Service will follow at Aurora Cemetery, 14253 Yonge St, Aurora, ON, L4G 0P2, on July 2, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
