At the age of 82, Everett passed peacefully on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Southlake Regional Health Centre with family by his bedside. He had lived with Multiple Sclerosis for more than 50 years. Born in Edmundston, New Brunswick, he was the son of the late Leonard Harding and Kathleen (Everett) Harding. Everett attended Tri-State University in Angola, Indiana, where he was the president of his fraternity graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree. As a young man he was an avid golfer. He enjoyed hockey, baseball and supporting his children in their chosen sports. A beloved father, husband, grandfather and great-grandfather, he is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marlene (Cruikshank); daughter, Terri Harding, Richmond Hill; son Jeff Harding (Janet Marques), Warrington, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Madison (Ian Majczan) and Mackenzie Harding, Philadelphia; and great granddaughter Elliott.
