Gastone Poldrugovac

Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Southlake Regional Health Centre after a long and courageous battle with a rare illness. Beloved husband of Yvonne (nee De Zan), married 53 ½ years. Loving father of Helen (Mike Maunder), John (Laurie), Sandra, and Michael (Jennifer). Cherished Nonno of Matthew, Ashley (Greg), Kaitlyn, Brianna, Colton and Avery. Dear brother of Maria, Guilio (Gilda), Nevis (Joseph) and brother-in-law Raymond (Judy). He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Gastone was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching his favourite teams the Blue Jays and the Leafs. Visitation will take place at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, on Sunday January 3rd from 2-6 pm. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady Of Grace Church, 15347 Yonge Street, Aurora on Monday January 4th at 11 am. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, Toronto. A special thank you to Analyn Novencido for her compassionate care shown over the past 3 years, and the staff at Southlake Village in Newmarket.
