We are so sorry to hear of Gino's passing.  
We have many fond memories of Gino at Wolf Lake, which we will treasure forever.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Lina, Sandra, Rob and families during this very difficult time.




I'm submitting a picture I took of Zio in 2009, last time I was at the cottage and on the motorboat. I have so many memories, but nothing stands out more than that last cottage visit. Cheers to a life well-lived, you will be missed.

So sad to know that Gino's caring smile and warm embrace will only be experienced in our hearts now.
So glad that we have such wonderful, vivid memories of our time together at Wolf Lake. The long walks (the kid's great adventures), Gino's wine, Lena's pasta, meals shared, Thanksgiving Day sweet table, chats on the dock, watching the kids fish, swim, play...grow. The list goes on and on. Though we feel the pain now, it can't compare to the joy we felt in those shared moments.

For me, losing Zio Gino signifies the loss of a member of the large circle of loving parents that raised me.   The closeness we had as an extended family has shaped me into the person I am today, and I mourn the loss of one of its fine members.  The sound of my uncles debating and laughing was the familiar backdrop to all our family gatherings, and the memories I have of those sounds and those relationships still comfort me today.  We will miss Zio Gino very much, and will always remember and be thankful for those days. 

I pray for you and your families Rob and Sandra, and and hope that you will never lose your vivid memories of your dad and Nonno.  And I pray for you especially,  Zia.   I hurt for you when I think of all the years that you have been together, and of all the adventures you have been on together.   I pray that God gives you strength in the days and years ahead. My deepest condolences to all of you. I would like to thank Zio Gino for being  the person he was.  He was a  big part of my life that made it enjoyable.  The picinics, BBQ's, and all the wonderful times we had at the cottage.   I thoroughly appreciated those times and will cherish those memories in my heart and for the days to come ahead.    He had the biggest heart and was always giving. He was a man that we should all learn from and strive to be.    He will be remembered.
