Peacefully, after a short illness, at North York General Hospital on June 27. Beloved daughter of the late Fred and Emma Bagg. Dear wife of the late Bert Porter. Dearly loved mother of Beth (Bill) and David (Robin). Devoted Nana of Mark, Matthew, Christopher, Rachel and Drake. Loving sister of Ila Groskorth and Bruce Bagg (Wilma), and of the late Grace, Ronnie and Ewart Bagg. Hazel grew up in Unionville, Ontario, and was a well-known kindergarten teacher and rhythm band director in Toronto at Lambton Park Public School in the 1940's and 50's. The funeral service will be held on Monday July 7, 2014 at 11am at Thompson Funeral Home in Aurora. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
