On August 22, 2010 in her 80th year after a wonderful life full of family, good friends, joy and excitement. Helen, Bill and family saw and experienced much of the world with home at one time or another being in Sarnia, Sault Ste. Marie, Thunder Bay, Miami, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Honduras, Montreal, Guelph, Parry Sound, Toronto (5 times), and finally Ballantrae. She will be sorely missed and happily remembered by husband Bill, sons Paul and Dean, daughter Lori Seymour, her husband Ward, 4 grandsons, Tom, Jeff, James, and Michael, by Sadie, her marvelous shepherd cross, and by a multitude of friends. Also thanks to the amazing staff at Southlake Regional Health Centre for their care, kindness, and compassion. Visitation will be held at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Pkwy. S. (north east corner of Yonge St. & Industrial Pkwy. S.), Aurora, on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8pm. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 15347 Yonge St. (north of Wellington St.) on Friday at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
