It is with the saddest regret that we share the passing of our Hildegard "Hilda" Troster, in the early morning this past Monday, April 6th in Aurora, Ontario, Canada. She sat down in her favourite spot on the sofa and passed away peacefully in her sleep. She is survived by her loving and deeply sad husband Erich and daughters Carol Correll and Sandra Troster Diaz, and many relatives in both Germany and in Canada. Hilda will be fondly remembered by family and friends for her warm smile, infectious laugh, fondness of both Opera and Formula One racing, and her unparalleled baking which she generously shared.
During these unprecedented times, there will not be a funeral or visitation. There will be a celebration of life when such gatherings are again possible, and we will provide the information on this site.
