He was the loving husband of Maureen (née Gantley), dear father of Kaireen (Brett Cleminson) and John (Shelley Spencer), and proud Grandpa to Katie and Jack Cleminson.
Jack was the cherished brother of Helen Hillier (the late Bert), the late Ambrose (Rose Marie), Edmund (Maureen), Aloysius (Mary), Mary Donnelly (Pat), Rita Shephard (Bill), Frank, the late Fr. Paul, and the late Steve (Marie).
Born and raised on the family farm in Birds Creek, near Bancroft, Ontario, Jack built a long and fulfilling career with Ontario Hydro — a role he took great pride in.
A true homebody, Jack found joy in tending the beautiful garden at his Unionville home, where he and Maureen lived for over 35 years. In retirement, he enjoyed woodworking and home renovation projects and was always happy to lend a hand to family and neighbours alike. Known for his quick wit and sense of humour, Jack could always be counted on to tell a joke — often with a mischievous grin and just when you needed a laugh.
Jack will be remembered as a man of honesty, integrity, deep faith, and a generous spirit. His presence, warmth, laughter, and kindness will be deeply missed.
