Jessie touched my life too.  I first met her with John at Sleepy Hollow, when they were engaged. I admired her then and more as I got to know her in these last few years with Bill. She was always took an interest in everyone and participated fully in our (Bill's) family gatherings.This was the way she lived her life. It was such a pleasant surprise when my mother, Myrna Simms, encountered her old friend Jessie while she was a patient at the Toronto Rehabilitation Hospital this past August.  Mom suffered a serious fall after her discharge and died on September 13, 2011.  I am saddened for you at your loss but am comforted too that my mom will again have her old friend with her to keep her company.  You have my family's deepest sympathies.

It is with great saddness that I join with the family in mourning the loss of Jessie. I first met her when she arrived at Sleepy Hollow along with a whole group of my brother's  Art School friends on their way home from a sports car race at Harewood acres. From that point on as a young teenager, I recognized a very lovely soul. She and John were always welcomed and enjoyed when ever they visited my parents in the Hollow. Fran and I very much enjoyed her regular social visits with us at Bill's. 
Her joy and talent will be missed.
