I feel fortunate to have worked with Joan at Bendale for a number of years. She was a wonderful role model and a great mentor. I learned a great deal from Joan both professionally and personally, and I truly admired her.
The Bendale ladies shared many good times together and much of the fun always stemmed from Joan’s wicked sense of humour and that wonderful laugh of hers - it was the best.
This world has lost a very special lady and I offer my sincerest condolences to her family who she always spoke of with such pride. May your special memories help to keep her close in your hearts.

So sad to hear of Joan’s passing. She was such a lovely person to work with - calm, kind and gentle, with a great sense of humour! She will be missed. Joan always enjoyed our ladies nights and retirement parties and, as you can see from this photo, she was a very good sport!
With Deepest Sympathy, Love and Friendship,

Dear Family of Joan Waller
My sincerest condolences on the loss of your Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grand Mother.
When Joan was the Office Administrator at Bendale BTI she hired me for a permanent position. I worked with her for 7 years before her retirement. She was a wonderful Office Administrator and mentor. When Joan was off for an extended period I filled in for her. Afterwards, she encouraged me to pursue the Office Administrator position, and I'm happy to say that I did. Her sense of humour and quiet ways were missed when she retired.
Kind Regards,
Lorraine Stretch
