Passed away surrounded by her loving family on February 12, 2023 in her 82nd year. Survived by her husband of 56 years Ottavio (Tony), daughters Francine (Michael) and Tania (Paul), and grandchildren Cassandra, Matthew, and Breanna, siblings Blanche (Joe), Junis, Celine (Frank), Veronica (Tony), Emett (Cherry), Monair (Zofia). Predeceased by her parents Edmund and Mary, siblings Adolph, Virginia, Debbie. Her pride was her family. Dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Loved by all and eternally missed.
A visitation for Joy will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON L4G6W8. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Our Lady Of Grace Parish, 15347 Yonge Street, Aurora, ON L4G1N7.
