Our love, prayers and deepest condolences go out to both our grandson, Bryan and his family as well as to Julie's family and loved ones. We also just met Julie in July at their engagement party. What a beautiful and lovely girl. We were so happy for them both. Our hearts are broken at this most sad turn of events but we pray that peace and blessings fill the hearts of all grieving Julie's loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with Julie and Bryan's families. I feel lucky that I got a chance to finally meet Julie last month while visiting Bryan. Julie had an incredible light to her that instantly made you feel welcome. Bryan had to catch a flight to Barcelona and Julie didn't even hesitate to invite me to spend the evening with her after only getting to know her over a short period of time, as she put it "we're going to be family so we may as well get used to each other". The love that Bryan and Julie shared was so special and I know that he will always hold a place in his heart for her. 


I worked with Julie and I’ll never forget the first time I met her.  She was the only other Russian girl I knew at work. She was strong and beautiful, with incredible energy. She was one of a kind. We will all miss her dearly. 

All my thoughts and prayers are with Bryan and the whole family.  Julie and I would always  talk about food and recipes. She was proud of the garden Bryan and her had at home, and the last time we saw each other she shared a salad with me ,made with all the vegetables they had grown. Her spirit, kindness, drive and passion will always be present amongst all of us. 

We had the pleasure of meeting Julie for the first time a few years ago, when Bryan and Julie came to Barcelona to meet us for the weekend and celebrate our birthdays. I was so excited to meet Julie for the first time, having heard so much about her from Bryan. When we finally got to meet, I was instantly drawn to Julie - she had an incredible ability to attract people. Her personality was so radiant that she could pull you in like a magnet, and from that moment I never looked back. She was intelligent and intuitive, with a wicked sense of humour and an incredible ability to conquer anything. We knew right away that Bryan and Julie were head over heels in love with one another, and when he finally proposed we were both ecstatic. Just a few weeks ago we spent a weekend of champagne, laughter and happiness with them, excitedly planning for their wedding - their future. The impact that Julie made on us, and everyone she met, will ensure that she will always be fondly remembered. We miss her, and our thoughts and love are with Bryan and Julie’s families.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Bryan and the whole family. Julie put herself completely behind every single thing she did. When she laughed her whole body was behind it, and she loved with every ounce of her. Its a small memory, but ill never forget when Bryan and Julie visited my cottage and when I had a midnight craving for jos louis and s'mores they hoped in the canoe and paddled to the grocery store... you could hear them laughing from across the lake. Her laughter will always be my fondest memory of her and when they were together it was uncontrollable and contagious. I have never witnessed a more powerful love between two people. I am soo sorry her story was cut short, but I am so happy to have witnessed the loved it was filled with in the short time we had with her. 

Julie was one of my best friends. She inspired me from the first day I met her. She taught me to love everything  life gave me and to be more sure of myself. When I was with Julie I felt I could conquer the world and I will always be thankful that I had the chance to meet her. I miss her deeply and I feel like the world without her will never be the same.

My thoughts are with her family and friends. I wish them the strenght to keep living the way Julie would want them to.

Julie only visited us in our home in Meaford a couple of times, but I will fondly remember her laughter and spirit. Words are never enough to lessen the deep and profound sadness that has enveloped us all....even those who knew her fleetingly. Peace be with you.

Ron and I are so sorry for the loss of your daughter Julie - I have many memories of Julie growing into a wonderful girl - we were so excited to learn of her engagement and how excited she was - Julie spent the day with us in Banff in the beautiful mountains - we did a day trip with  Graeme and Julie on August 24, 2015 - we went up on a gondala and then had a very nice lunch and some drinks on a patio - we had many laughs that day and it was such a treat to share the day with her. Julie will be missed by Ron and I.
