Life began for Kenneth, son of Albert and Dora, at the Lockwood Clinic in west Toronto in 1938. His parents, staunch Salvationists, were an example of commitment to service and Godliness, something not present in his youth, however actualized in his
thirties “to much is given, much is required.” He and his first wife Shirley had two sons, Colin and Kirk, apples of his eye, whom he cherished his time with. Following an amicable divorce, he married Elizabeth Ann Hendry and inherited two daughters, Michelle and Melissa. His soulmate Ann was an exceptional woman who he revered (until) her passing in 2020. Ken was industrious with a natural creativity, using his skills in advertising art and design, achieving high levels of success including the industry standard for excellence “Sales Promotion Professional of the Year” honors.
Since his retirement, he exercised his abilities with pro bono marketing and design for non-profit organizations. He was blessed with having three granddaughters and six step granddaughters (Honoree Pall Bearers), special daughters and sons in laws. As we reflect upon his life, he was unconditionally loving and giving. He now is at rest, at peace, with his God and trustfully remembered by all who touched his life. Ken leaves his four children and their spouses: Colin and Lynn, Kirk and Kelly, Michelle and Greg, Melissa and Shaun. Nine grandchildren: Nicole, Hannah, Makaela, Meghan, Erin, Allison, Madison, Hailey and Kaitlyn.

Visitation will be held on August 26, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Followed by the Memorial Service at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON L4G6W8, at 1:00 pm. Reception to follow the Memorial Service.
