Lyudmyla "Ludmila" Ishchenko was a beloved grandmother, mother, and wife during her incredible 80 years of life. She passed away in the late afternoon of Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at South Lake Hospital in Newmarket with her daughter by her side. She is remembered by her daughter Kate, son-in-law Serge, and her grandchildren Artem and Alex.
She was the cherished daughter of Andrew and Matrena and a caring wife to Alexander.
Ludmila worked as a school principal for over 40 years. During this time, she left a considerable impact on all of her students.
Ludmila's warm, caring and cheerful personality made her many lifelong friends, touching the lives of those around her, while her kindness and positivity consistently lit up the lives of others.
As a grandmother, she was a protector, a teacher, and a best friend.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will take place from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11 am on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON L4G6W8.
