Martin was the loving husband of the late Antonia (Chircop) for 52 years. He leaves behind his sons Raymond and Martin (Anne) and his grandchildren, Abigail, Ronan and Bridget.
Martin was born in Mór, Hungary on June 23, 1937 to Martin and Theresa Heim. He immigrated, with his family from East Germany to Canada, where he met his beautiful wife, Antonia. Together they settled down to raise 2 sons. Martin was employed by De Haviland Aircraft in Downsview until he retired after 30 years. He will be remembered as an extremely hard worker who always put the needs of others ahead of himself.
Martin’s family will receive friends and family at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON L4G 6W8 for visitation on Friday, August 15, 2025 from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Seton Parish, 17955 Leslie St, Newmarket, ON L3Y 9A4, on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 11:15 am. Reception to follow in Seton Hall.
