Martin was born on April 7, 1961 in Manchester, England. He attended school in Cheshire, Germany and the Lake District, where he enrolled in catering college. Thus began his successful career as a chef, which took him all over the world and led him to find the love of his life, Paula. They married in 1993. He found joy in travelling, good food and wine, music, watches, driving and of course cooking. He had a love of cats, and they found him wherever he travelled. Blossom will miss him.
In addition to being a marvelous chef, Martin’s greatest gifts included his warmth, his generosity, and above all, his sense of humour. He was a wonderful host and a loyal friend. He will be truly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Paula wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at Southlake Cancer Centre for their excellent care of Martin throughout his illness.
