Dear Mrs LaPorte! What a beautiful lady! Memories of her and Mr LaPorte walking hand in hand every night, by our home on Lorraine Drive! It was always a delight to see them! After growing up and moving away from the neighbourhood, years later brought me such delight to see the 2 of them sitting in my pew at St Elizabeth Seton parish! It was old home week and we very happily caught up with each other, after many, many years. I was blessed to have them back in my life, watching them, as was their ritual, walking out of the church that day, hand in hand! I was saddened when your Dad passed and now your dear Mom has gone and joined him in Heaven. I’m sure they are still walking, hand in hand, again, forever. God Bless all the LaPortes. My deepest condolences to each one of you. Much love, Wendy Sloane

It was a pleasure meeting your mom while she was with us at Kingsway Place. She will always be remembered as a sweet lady who always smiled, had 10 kids and loved her chocolate. We will all miss her dearly.

My condolences to the entire family.
Your Mother was a remarkable woman. A woman with a love & pride for her family that clearly showed each and every time I had the pleasure of visiting with her. Knowing she is now with the Lord & the love of her life, should be a comfort to all she leaves behind.
May all your fond memories help you through this time.
Though I won’t be able to attend today, know that my thoughts & prayers will be with you all.

My sincere condolences on the passing of Terry. My mother, Margaret Kennedy, was a friend of Terry's from Blessed Trinity Church. I also had the pleasure of playing euchre with both Terry and Ray. RIP dear Terry.

Sending deepest condolences to all of the LaPorte family. Your mom will always have a special place in my heart. She was a wonderful lady who welcomed me, with open arms, as she did the other “extended offspring” who frequented the Willowdale household. l have a lot of special memories to treasure. May God Bless her and bring comfort and peace to you all.
Love Francie xo
