Muriel Elizabeth Mawhinney Williams

Passed away peacefully March 20, 2015 in her 90th year, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Bruce B. Williams. Dearly loved mother of Robert J. (Tina), Richard B.(Nancy) and Nancy M.(Bob Bosshard). Bette was blessed with grandchildren Beth(Andrew McKenzie), Heather, and Jonathan; David and Kevin; Robert and Samantha. Bette was thrilled to be able to meet her great granddaughter, Kynlee Grace McKenzie. Bette will be missed by her brother Bill Mawhinney(Lois) and family. She will be fondly remembered by the Hyland Family. Bette was predeceased by her sister Marion Ward, Bruce’s sister Eleanor and husband Don Hyland. Bette will also be sadly missed by Dorothy Walsh, a life long friend, and her family. Fondly remembered by all those whose lives were touched by her love, compassion, devotion and indomitable spirit. Visitation will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, 905-727-5421 on Friday March 27 from 1-2pm with a service to follow in the chapel at 2pm.
