

We are saddened to announce the passing of Ronald Somerville Peat on December 17, 2021 beloved husband of Barbara (née Donald). Loving father to Sara, Kiri (Douglas Bonsu) and Bradley (Vanessa Peat-Rodriguez). Phenomenal grandfather to Sydney (d. 2011), Caleb, Hailey, Dylan and Manuela. Caring brother and brother-in-law to Linda (Steven), Barbara (Wayne), Evelyn (George), Diane (d.2003), Shirley (Jim), Stephen (Linda), and Grace; uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Dad was born and raised in Weston where he grew up before venturing to Montréal and Auckland, returning to Toronto in 1978 stopping around the world on his way home. He worked for Hickeson-Lang before going out on his own to purchase North York Printing and Graphics, which is still going strong today.
Visitation for Ronald will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON L4G6W8.
For those age 12 and older, proof of full vaccination, along with government issued ID, are mandatory to attend indoor funeral services. Masks are required.
Funeral Service will occur on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Anglican Church, 79 Victoria St, Aurora, ON L4G1R3. Ronald will be laid to rest in St John Anglican Cemetery, 12125 Yonge Street, at Jefferson, Richmond Hill, Ontario.
