Born in Leeds, England, Slavko made his home in Aurora, Ontario, where he built a life surrounded by the people he loved.
Slavko was a genuine, kind-hearted man who showed his love not so much through words, but through his actions. He was the person everyone turned to when they needed a helping hand, and there was seemingly nothing he couldn’t fix. No matter the problem, Slavko was always willing to share his knowledge, his skills, and his time.
He found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. He loved cooking for others and bringing people together over a good meal. During the warmer months, he could often be found outdoors, tending to his garden and enjoying the summer days.
Above all, Slavko was a devoted family man. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Lynda Vranjesevic; his daughters, Kristina Durbano (Tony) and Alex Symington (Matthew); and his cherished granddaughter, Theadora Durbano.
Slavko leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a legacy of kindness, generosity, and love. He will be remembered not only for the things he could fix or the meals he prepared, but for the countless ways he made life better for those around him.
A private ceremony will be held for immediate family. Details regarding a celebration of Slavko’s life will be shared at a later date.
Flowers may be sent to Aurora Thompson Funeral Home.
