Passed away peacefully at his home on the 9th May, 2015.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Noreen, brother Henry, three loving children, sons Christopher and Brian and daughter Michele. Four lovely grandchildren, Stephen, Jesse, Britney and Amanda, and a beautiful great grandson, Nixon. Together with extended family including his first wife, Sandy, and sister in law, Bernice.
Stan was born in Toronto of Polish parents in May of 1936. A friend describes him as “more fun than anybody has a right to be”, and he was. Everybody who knew him has a “Stanley moment”.
We want to thank all the caring staff of the Cancer Centre of Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie and the Palliative Unit at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket. They were wonderful. In lieu of flowers please give a donation to these centers, or a cancer center of your choice.
