

Passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on February 10, 2010. Dear husband of 65 years of Solvig (nee Nelson). Loving father of Victor (Lynda), and Johanne (Jeffrey Palser). Loving grandfather of Krysten Palser. Sadly missed by sister Gwen Stagg, her family, and other relatives in England. Vic was born in Tonbridge, England. Veteran WWII, British RAF, having completed his flight training in Manitoba where he met his future wife Solvig. He worked as a Chemist for I.C.I. in England and C.I.L. in Canada where he immigrated in 1956. Member of the Chemical Institute of Canada. He moved to Aurora from Richmond Hill in 1981 where he was active in the Royal Canadian Legion and Southlake Regional Health Centre. He was blessed with many good friends. His family is deeply grateful for their continued support. Thanks to the Palliative Care staff at Southlake. Friends may call at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Pkwy. S. (north east corner of Yonge St. & Industrial Pkwy. S.), Aurora, on Monday, February 15 from 3-5pm. Funeral Service in the chapel on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 1:00pm. Interment Aurora Cemetery.
