Passed away peacefully with family lovingly by her side at Mackenzie Health after a long and courageous battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), Kidney and Crohn’s disease. Yvonne was preceded by her beloved husband Gastone of 53 years. Loving Mother of Helen (Mike), John (Laurie), Sandy (Scott) and Michael (Jennifer). Cherished Nonna of Matthew (Justyna), Ashley (Greg), Kaitlyn, Colton, Brianna and Avery. Beloved Bisnonna of Iyla and Easton. Dear sister of Raymond (Judy). Dear sister in law of Maria, Guilio (Gilda), Nives (Joseph). She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was an exceptional cook and her many skills have been passed down to her children and grandchildren. Yvonne enjoyed travelling and dedicated her life to caring for her family.
Visitation for Yvonne will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 6:30 - 9 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON L4G6W8.
**Proof of full vaccination, along with government issued ID, are mandatory to attend indoor visitation for those age 12 and older. Masks are required.**
A Funeral Mass take place on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Of Grace Church, 15347 Yonge St, Aurora. A burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Toronto.
