Agustin V. Hernandez, 83, of Austin, Texas, was called home by his Heavenly Father on August 28, 2003. Born in Mexico City to Andres Villanueva and Concepcion Hernandez, he soon made Austin his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Jose and Alicia Villanueva, all of Mexico City. Agustin is survived by his wife, Catherine P. Hernandez; daughters, Margaret H. Piper and husband Steven, and Susan H. Saldana and husband Jesse; brother, Andres Villanueva and wife Gloria; and special nephew and niece, Andres C. Villanueva and Chabela Villanueva. Agustin was a loving father and husband, deeply devoted to his wife, daughters, seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and all who knew him. Special thanks to all his physicians, especially Hospice Austin and its wonderful staff. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 30, 2003, at Dolores Catholic Church, Father Paul Pudussery, SCS, as celebrant.
