Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle was called home to be with our heavenly father Tuesday January 28th 2014. He was surrounded by his family and is preceded in death by his parents Amado Sr., Cecilia Perez, and his son Ricky Perez. Amado was a lifetime resident of Austin and was employed by I.B.M for 15 yrs and retired in 1995. He is survived by his wife of 52 wonderful years, Dorothy Perez, his daughter Roxanne De La Cruz (Carlos), daughter in law Tammy Perez, granddaughters Jennifer Perez, Reanna and grandson Carlos De La Cruz Jr. He is also survived by his sisters Annie Medina, Virgie Hornsby (Clyde), Mary Alice Trevino, Teresa Sanchez (Cirilio), Gloria Alonzo (John), and Brother Johnny Perez (Mary Alice) and numerous nieces and nephews. We know your in heaven looking down at us keeping us safe and not suffering any more. You will be greatly missed , but we find peace in knowing that there are lots of family welcoming you home in to the kingdom of heaven. Until we meet again you will always be in our hearts, We love and miss you dearly. We Love you always Pop.
