Ann was extremely proud to be the daughter, wife, and mother of an Air Force fighter pilot!
Ann was born in 1926 in Dayton, Ohio, and lived all over the country while growing up in a military family. She attended the University of Illinois studying drafting, and married Jim on Valentine's Day, 1948. They continued their military life together living all over the country and world until their retirement in 1979, when they made Austin their permanent home. They enjoyed playing golf together and made many dear friends while enjoying their life in Austin.
Ann became a master quilter, and was very generous with her talents. Her family and friends will be blessed for many generations by her beautiful and loving works of art. Ann truly exemplified "Those who sleep under a quilt, sleep under a blanket of love"
An avid dog lover, Ann requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Gold Ribbon rescue, www.grr-tx.com 512-659-4653.
There will be an open house at the Knight home on Sunday, October 23rd from 3-5 p.m. at 11025 Hillside Dr. Austin, TX 78736. Please enhance this tribute to Ann by adding your own memories and photos of Ann to the guestbook below. Thank you so much for your love and support.
