Anna Violet Weber Green passed away Monday at Christopher House, Austin Hospice. Anna was born to Ethel and Ed Weber on June 4, 1912 in Austin, Texas and was married for 50 years to Leslie Mason Green who died in 1982. Anna resided at 908 E. 37th for more than 65 years, before moving to The Heritage at Gaines Ranch in 2001. Anna worked at many jobs from bookkeeping to child care. Her most important job was giving love and devotion to her 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was described by those who knew her as a sweet person, loving and generous to all. She is survived by her sister, Hazel Fritsch; her daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and David Bell of Houston and Mary and Bubba Glenn of Austin; grandchildren, Candice Lynne Rudolph and husband Rick of Austin, Michael James Bell of New York, Ryan Ross Mulkey of Austin, Eric Matthew Bell of Japan and Claire Toshiko Ishikawa Bell of Houston; and by great grandchildren, Taylor, Joshua and Courtney Rudolph. Viewing will be from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm on Wednesday and Thursday. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday at Austin Memorial Park with Rev. D. Scott McIntosh officiating.
