She was born in Clay, LA on December 20, 1920. Anna Beth was married to William Milton Warren Hewgley on October 2, 1939. She loved traveling with her sister, Maurice and working on genealogy. She loved sewing, crocheting and was an avid reader, and even loved listening to books on tape. She loved cooking and fishing with her husband and has always had a green thumb. Trips to Las Vegas to play the slots was always a highlight, but only if she was ahead. She loved listening to music, especially Willie Nelson and Asleep at the Wheel.
She is survived by three children, Richard Hewgley, Warren Hewgley, and Billie Beth Kretzschmar, and 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 19th, 2017 from 10am-noon at Cook-Walden Funeral Home 6100 N. Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78752.
