

Anna Varga Kudlak, Age 85, passed peacefully to be with our Lord on November 21, 2014 with her son and his wife at her side. Anna was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 1, 1929. On May 11, 1957, she married Michael Kudlak. They moved to Texas due to Michael's work but her love for New York never left her heart.
Anna was dedicated to her faith and prayer life. She was an accomplished dressmaker and loved to bake. She always had cookies, cakes or a pumpkin roll ready to share.
Anna is preceded in death by her husband Michael Kudlak, her parents Michael and Mary Varga and her brother, Paul Varga.
Anna is survived by her son Michael and his wife, her granddaughter Megan, her sisters Helen Andreycak and Barbara Onufer and brother John Varga and his wife Terry. She is also survived by many adoring nieces and nephews.
Michael, Patti and Megan would like to send their heartfelt thanks to the amazing priests who blessed Anna, and them, throughout this time, Msgr. Don Sawyer, Fr. Daniel Forsythe, Fr. Dean Wilhelm and Fr. Uche Andeh. Also, special thanks to family and friends for their unending support and many thanks to the doctors, nurses and therapists who cared for Anna.
A Parastas prayer service and visitation will be on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady's Maronite Catholic Church. The Funeral Liturgy will be on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady's Maronite Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery.
