

On September 9, 2024, Annie was removed from our presence and called home to be with our Lord.
Annie Ruth was the youngest of 6 kids and was surrounded by love and attention. She lived with her grandparents Johnson and Annie Piper in Taylor, Tx where she attended elementary and middle school. Annie was an honor student and found a love in drawing using pencil chalk. She moved to Austin, Tx and graduated from L. C. Anderson High School in 1961.
When Annie was young, she made a commitment to follow Christ. In Manor, Texas, she was baptized at a young age.
Annie became a member and went to Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. She faithfully attended services as a devoted member of the Hannah Circle until her health began to decline.
After graduating from high school, Annie enrolled in Business Secretary school. Annie began her career at Brackenridge Hospital as a nurses aid. She also worked for the State of Texas at TWC (Texas Workforce Commission) for 29 years as an Analyst. After retirement, Annie worked at St. David's Hospital part-time and Internal Revenue Service.
After the union of Annie and Henry Middlebrook, Anita Middlebrook was born in 1967 in Des Moines, IA. Annie met Robert Habbit Sr, and Robert Habbit II was born in 1972.
