Audrey was born in Boston Massachusetts on October 20, 1931. Prior to her marriage with Dean, she served in the United States Navy as a nurse where she attended to her patients with dedication. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Austin Doll Club and the Austin Miniature Club. Audrey was revered as an experienced doll collector and miniature artist. Her dolls and fine artwork were admired by many. Audrey’s selflessness and compassion will always be remembered. Audrey was loved by many and missed by even more.
She is preceded in death by her father, Herbert Hoover, her mother, Helen Somes, her uncle, Irving Marz and her youngest son, Thomas Andrew Caswell.
She is survived by her husband, Dean Caswell and her children: Catherine Anne Post, Daniel Clayton Caswell, Christopher Dean Caswell, James Michael Caswell, and Timothy Alan Caswell.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 28, 2010 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 W. William Cannon Drive. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
