Audrey Ellen Ducote

Audrey Ellen Ducote, age 16, died on Saturday, February 16, 2008. She was a passenger in a tragic automobile accident near Austin, Texas. Audrey was born in Austin on February 28, 1991, to Lester J. Ducote and Ellen Adams Ducote. Audrey grew up in Austin where she attended Brykerwoods Elementary School, O. Henry Middle School and Stephen F. Austin High School. She played on her High School Golf Team and was an active member of KAHS. She was also active in Young Life and Austin Stone Community Church. Audrey loved her summer camp life at Camp Mystic in Hunt, TX. She is survived by Lester J. Ducote and Ellen Adams Ducote, her father and mother, who live in Austin, Texas, and by her brother Alexander ("Alex") Mark Ducote, who is a sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Audrey is also survived by her paternal grandparents Dr. Lester L. Ducote and his wife Karla Ducote, and Neva S. Ducote of Lafayette, La., her maternal grandparents Baxter and Carol Adams of Kerrville, Texas, and by her aunts Neva Ducote Seago and her husband Mike Seago of New Orleans, LA, Ellen Ducote Stokes and her husband Mike Stokes of Lafayette, LA, Virginia Ducote Remeny and her husband Merle Remeny of Austin, Texas, Angela Ducote Snow and her husband Bryan Snow of Lafayette, LA, Ann Adams Landry and her husband Christopher Landry of Waltersboro, SC, and Kelley Adams Burgess and her husband Robert Burgess of Anna, Texas. She is also survived by her cousins, Laura Burgess, Robert Burgess, Berry Burgess, Lilly Burgess, Anna Carol Landry Bell, Benjamin Seago, Sara Seago, Lauren Seago, Nicole Seago, Jacob Stokes, Julia Remeny, Emma Remeny and Nicholas Snow. Pallbearers are Alex Ducote, John Romano, Stephen Dellert, Andrew Murray, Frank Winsett, Brandon Betancourt, Harry Minton, and Jake LaVallo. A Funeral service will be held at Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, located at 3201 Windsor Rd, at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2008. A private family burial will take place at Austin Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to Young Life Austin, P.O.
