

Barbara was born on May 21, 1934 in Nixon, Texas to Marguerite Wiley Denson and William Lawrence Denson, and raised in Harlingen, Texas.
In her mid-teens, she was involved in an auto accident that left her with a traumatic brain injury; she recovered well and continued to live with her parents. They traveled across the United States for many years with the Good Sam RV Club. Barbara had a beautiful smile and a big heart and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Marguerite Wiley Denson and William Lawrence Denson; and her brother, William Lloyd Denson. She is survived by her nieces, Dawn Denson of Austin, and Misty Denson Bell (Steve) of Cedar Park; her great nephew, James Bell; great niece, Ashlynn Bell; step nieces, Julie Naseef of Lake Worth, Florida, and Karen Terry of East Hampton, Connecticut; Karen’s husband, David, and their children, Samantha and Jonathon.
A private graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Rancho Cemetery in Nixon, Texas.
Barbara’s family would like to thank the Gracy Woods II Living Center for the attentive, patient care she received during the years she lived there.
