Betty Lane McLean, Age 77, of Austin passed away September 29, 2007. She was born to Charles Allen Jarratt and Irene Montgomery in Corpus Christi, TX. Soon after her birth the family moved to Brownsville, TX where Betty grew up. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward James McLean, Jr. , and her siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Valerie Klein and Vanessa Young; son, Edward James McLean III; 6 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved cat, Clyde. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday October 1, 2007 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday October 2, 2007 at Live Oak Cemetery, Manchaca, TX.
