Beverly Gainer, Founder and immediate Past President of German Shepherd Rescue of Central Texas passed on December 7, 2021. Known simply as "Bev" she was Foster Mom to countless dogs as well as a mother, friend, and dog rescuer. She touched the lives of many humans and dogs over the years. Our hearts are heavy, and we express our condolences to her friends and family.
Bev's memorial service will be Saturday December 11th at 10 a.m. at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 William Cannon Drive, Austin, 78749.
In lieu of flowers or plants, Bev would have wanted donations to go to the dogs so donations can be made in her memory to German Shepherd Rescue of Central Texas.
