Bo was born in Ennis, Texas to Lamar and Rose Ann Carter. Bo was raised in Austin and in August 1976 he met his love Cathy Foster. They married and raised two sons, Kevin and James. They enhanced his life and he was so proud of them.
Bo loved the outdoors and spending time with friends and family. His easy going nature ensured that he made a new friend wherever he went. He enjoyed sports, especially coaching and watching his sons play baseball. He also liked fishing and working on old cars in the driveway, and those passions are carried on by his two sons.
Bo was a commercial construction superintendent in Austin for 40+ years and as such, left his mark on much of our city.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Sunday, January 31, 2016 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with a Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Celebration will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, February 1, 2016 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 4800 Convict Hill Road with Father Pat Coakley, Celebrant.
