

Bonnie was born in Annapolis, Maryland on August 13, 1926, to Henry and Esther Boettcher. She married Frank A. LaBoon on June 6, 1945. He proceeded her in death on September 6, 2014
Bonnie and her family moved to Austin when Frank retired from the Army in 1974. Bonnie was active in numerous organizations at Northwest Hills United Methodist Church including Walk to Emmaus, United Methodist Women and Stephens Ministry. She was also a member of numerous bridge clubs, Mesa Oaks Garden Club, the Retired Officers Wives Club, and Engineer’s Wives Club. She loved to spend time with family and friends, swimming, reading, gardening and playing dominoes and bridge.
She loved life and her love and fun spirit shone like a light to all she encountered. Our lives will be dimmer without her.
Bonnie is survived by four daughters, Chelle Bostwick (Pete), Topeka, KS, Sue Morrill (Kyle), Plano, TX, Missy Gilchrist (Mark), Edmond, OK and Allison Weirich (Wayne), Liberty Hill, TX. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and four great grandchildren as well as her brother, Hank Boettcher (Skip) and her uncle Bobby Stevens.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Hospice Austin, Texas Oncology, Encompass Home Health, the staff of Heart Health Austin, and the staff of the Renaissance.
A Visitation for Bonnie will be Friday, October 24, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:00pm, at the Cook Walden Funeral Home located at 6100 N. Lamar Blvd., Austin Texas. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 25, 2014, at 11:00am, at Northwest Hills United Methodist Church, 7050 Village Center Dr, Austin, TX 78731.
Bonnie will be laid to rest with her husband Frank at Arlington National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Northwest Hills United Methodist Women, 7050 Village Center Dr, Austin, TX 78731.
