Dr. Goldsmith was my dentist for 25 years.  He had a heart of gold.  He was loved by many.  He showed me much compassion when I needed his help.  I will miss him and have many warm thoughts for him. My condolences to his family.

Dr. Brooks was the kindest man I have ever known.  My sincere condolences to his family.  The world was a better place because Dr. Brooks was here on Earth.  I cannot say enough about the kindness and compassion he showed my family. He was my dentist for 30 years.

I was thinking about Dr Goldsmith today and decided to look him up to find he passed. He took such great care of his patients and was just someone you remember in your life.  Prayers and condolences for you his family and just love for what he meant to my family and so many.

As you all know, Brooks was an amazing man who affected so many peoples lives positively.  For me, sitting at the dining room table hearing him say, “Guy, you are…” followed by some affirmation that I was special, always meant a lot to me. 

I used his voice for the rest of my life. 

My condolences on your loss. I recall Dr. Goldsmith fondly. I was a patient from about 1995 until he retired. He cared about his patients and the office staff did too, reflecting and carrying out an attitude of service. May you find peace in faith and fond memories.

You don't know me or my husband(Terry and Ed Tennison), but we were Dr. Goldsmith's patients for about 20 years until he retired. He was not only a wonderful dentist, but a truly nice human being.

One weekend Ed had such tooth pain, he phoned Dr. Goldsmith early on a Sunday.  The doctor chased down an assistant, opened his office  and was able to relieve the pain until Ed could get back in for a regular appointment.

That experience greatly increased our loyalty and admiration for Dr. Goldsmith. We really, selfishly did not want him to retire!

Please know that he often is mentioned with high regard in our conversations with each other and with friends.

Dr. Goldsmith became my dentist after I moved to Austin in 1978.  I used to joke with him about being his longest tenured patient.  I will always remember his warm "welcome home!" when he greeted me.   He helped me through some trying times and I will always remember his kindness and concern.  Sending prayers for peace & comfort to his family.  

Dr. Goldsmith was the kindest dentist I knew. Never made me feel bad for avoiding the dentist and helped me get through my braces at age 35. He became the texas monthly dentist since so many of us went to him. He came to our wedding. John Kunz and I am so sorry for your loss

Brooks had many friends, among them was his young associate Ben Smithers. There was an intimate group of friends whom he had lunch with almost every Thursday at the Headliners Club for more than 25 years.

They have all passed over, but i'm sure they will be welcoming Brooks on Thursday.
