Carolyn is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert McCuan and her two children, Michelle McCuan Carlson and Barry McCuan.
Carolyn was born on October 26, 1939 to Sidney and Marguerite Phillips in Richmond, Indiana. She graduated from Brigham Young University in 1962 with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught first grade in Utah, Ohio, and Indiana. She had a gift for nurturing young children.
The funeral will be held on October 24th at Cook Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home on Anderson Mill Road, Austin at 1pm. Burial will be at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas.
