Moye Military Academy, Castroville, Tx. 7th and 8th grade.  Nickname was Sonny.  We took our first trip together to the Alamo and to the Texas State Capitol Bldg. then later were roommates at St. Edward's High School.  At one time he was a 4 night boarder.  Austin students were known as "day dogs".  My prayers and fondest memories---Herbert L. (Chris) Rice, to my boyhood friend.

Such a very kind, gentle, and giving man.  It's been years since I've seen Cater but my heart is so sad at his passing.  Laura the two of you were so great together.
