He is preceded in death by his wife; his parents; and siblings.
Charles is survived by his daughters, Vicky Ellis, Toni Stevens and her husband Michael; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Charles will be on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Bannockburn Baptist Church, 7100 Brodie Lane, Austin, Texas with Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 am.
Interment will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
