To the Randolph family, I am so sorry to belatedly learn about Chuck passing away. He was a great manager, colleague and friend. I will always remember his bright smile and cheerful attitude in the face of any challenge. My deepest sympathy is extended to all of your family. Mike Quirk

Shirley and family,

I am sorry to hear about your loss (and so long after the fact).  I have many delightful memories of working with Chuck and traveling with him to Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.  Our working relationship evolved into a friendship, and I am grateful I had the opportunity to know him.

for years since we left Austin and moved to California, then to Florida, we thought of Chuck and you and wondered how and where you were. I had immense respect for Chuck and his work with me at IBM and enjoyed the many trips we took together for IBM and to introduce technology to the far East.  Chuck was an incredible expert in his field and I will miss him forever.

Chuck and I worked for a short time together until he moved on here at the TCEQ.  We kept in touch and would talk and laugh each and every visit whether over the phone or in person.  I am so sorry for your loss and please accept my deepest heartfelt condolences.

I missed Chuck so much when he was unable to come to work.  His sense of humor and his positive attitude were icing on the cake of his excellent work ethic.
