

Charlotte Sue Houston, 55, passed away peacefully in Austin surrounded by loving family members on December 4, 2010 after a brief illness. She was called home because the Lord needed a beautiful flower to brighten his flower garden. Charlotte was an avid reader and enjoyed curling up with a good book on wintery days. When she was not reading, she liked to crochet and discuss the books she had read with her favorite aunt. Before her illness she was a great cook and delighted in trying out new recipes on her family that she had developed. She was a gentle soul that touched the lives and hearts of everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. Charlotte was preceded in death by her mother, her maternal grandparents, her paternal grandparents, and several aunts and uncles. She leaves behind her husband of 27 years, Timothy Joe Houston, of Pflugerville, TX; a son, Eric Everroad of Abilene, TX; her father and step-mother, James and Bernice Feuerbacher of Austin, TX; two sisters, Barbara Breen and her husband, John. of Aspinwall, Pennsylvania and Sheri Swan and her husband, Bryan, of Lilburn, Georgia; a brother, Barry Feuerbacher of Austin, TX; and two step brothers, Robert Anderson Junior and Richard Anderson and his wife, Sandy, of Austin, TX; her favorite aunt, Linda Nance and her husband, Earnest, of Elgin, TX; three nieces, Nikki Tucker of Dallas, TX; Taylor Davis and Addie Davis of Lilburn, GA; and a nephew, Parker Stone of Lilburn, GA. The family would like to acknowledge the nurses of North Austin Medic al Center’s 3 North and Intensive Care for the excellent and compassionate care given to Charlotte while in their care. A very special thank you goes to her surgeon, Dr. Francis Buzad for his exceptional expertise and care. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o’clock to eight o’clock in the evening on Tuesday, the 7th of December, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin. Funeral services will be conducted at ten o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, the 8th of December, in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home.
