

He was in the Caterpillar apprentice program in Illinois, served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II, was the owner of a grocery store, and pizza delivery business, worked as a salesman for a television station in Florida and a Ford dealership in Illinois, was a mailman, and a marshal at a golf course. He was affiliated with the Methodist faith all his life. He helped with and was on the board of charitable organizations.
Mr. Heuerman was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, his first wife Ann, and his son Jack Cramer-Heuerman. His surviving family members include wife, Tootsie; her two daughters, Linda and Maryfrances along with their husbands and 3 grandchildren; his daughter, Sharon Reeves and her husband Denny; a grandson, Jeff; a great-granddaughter, Jensyn; and a granddaughter, Michelle, and daughter- in-law, Janet Eggleston. He is also survived by his sister, Iona Lueck, and many other relatives and friends.
