Christa Odell was born in Brownwood, Texas on August 1, 1964 and passed away on September 7, 2014 in Austin. She grew up in Eastland and Abilene. Christa graduated from Wylie High School and from Midland College. She worked in the medical field in radiology for more than twenty years in Midland and Austin. Christa has one daughter, Olivia Odell, who was the love of her life.
Christa was quick and witty and fun to be around. She loved deeply and was loved by many. She left us too soon and we will miss her terribly. May she rest in peace in the arms of Jesus.
Christa is survived by her parents, Johnny and Helen Odell of Lago Vista; her daughter, Olivia Odell; one sister, Jackie Du Bose; one brother, Billy Jack Boler; a nephew, Justin Du Bose and a niece, Jordan Brown.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 11th at Woodson Cemetery in Woodson, Texas. Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 12, 2014 at Austin Christian Fellowship, 6401 River Place Blvd in Austin.
