Claudette Deane Knause, age 90, of Austin, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026. She was born on August 30, 1935, in Waco, Texas, to Walter and Ethyl Russell Deane. She spent the majority of her childhood in Manchaca, Texas. Claudette will be remembered for her kindness, love, and dedication to her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Russell Deane; her beloved husband, Russell Knause; and daughter, Kathy Sue Hernandez.
She is survived by her son, Patrick Knause; granddaughters, Kisla Hernandez (Jessica), Regina Herrera (Jeff) & Vanessa Price; 12 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home located at 2620 South Congress Ave. on Saturday March 7, 2026 at 11am and graveside services/burial at Live Oak Cemetery at 2pm.
