A lifelong resident of the Austin area, Dolly was a devoted mother and grandmother. She filled our hearts with joy and laughter and will be kindly remembered for her strength, perseverance and of course stubbornness all of which she imparted on those she leaves behind. Dolly’s imprint will remain with each of us who knew and loved her.
Dolly is preceded in death by her parents; Pablo C. Gomez and Elvira S. Gomez as well as her siblings; Lupita Gomez, Domingo Gomez, and Leonard Gomez.
Dolly is survived by her siblings; Mary, Patsy, Sylvia, Josie, Rick, Lucy and Paula. Her four children are also left to cherish her memory, they include; Paul Edward Gomez Sr. (Monica), Tony Gomez Sr. (Gina), Jessica Gomez-Castro (George) and Ralph Gomez. As well as her nine grandchildren; Mark, Leighanna, Regina, Leah, Tony Jr., Kaylee, Paul Jr., Jacob, Malachi and one great-grandchild, Layla.
Our family would like to express their thanks to Hospice Austin. As well a special thank you to all of the family and friends who have come to support us and remember our treasured Dolly.
