Damian Martin Gutierrez

Damian was born on July 14, 1996, to Missy Ann Martinez and Frank Gutierrez Jr.

Damian attended Austin ISD schools and graduated from Crockett High school in 2015. After graduation, Damian enlisted in the US Army. After his discharge from the Army, Damian worked as a roofer and did many jobs throughout his adult years.

Damian was known as a die-hard Texas Longhorn and a Dallas Cowboy fan. He enjoyed watching the games as he rooted his team on. Damian’s biggest joy of his life came on October 5, 2021, when he became a father to his precious daughter, Leila Marie Gutierrez, which he lovingly called “Leila Love”. Damian was working hard to change many areas of his life to provide a good, stable life for his Leila Love. He enjoyed taking her to church, the same church he was raised in, The Potter’s House Christian Church, and watching her learn and grow as she played with other kids.

Damian leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother Missy Ann Martinez and his father Frank Gutierrez Jr. (Carmen) of Austin, adoring siblings, Xavier Gutierrez of Hondo, TX, Gloria G. Gutierrez of New Braunfels, TX, Frank Gutierrez III of Austin, TX and Joziah J. Martinez of Austin, TX, step brother Zach Barboza of Austin, TX, paternal grandparents Frank Gutierrez Sr.(Brenda) of Lubbock, TX and Anita Cisneros (Raul), of Austin, TX along with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends. Damian is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Juan and Gloria Martinez

Following services on Sunday, March 10, 2024 the family welcomes you to a reception at Frank and Carmen Gutierrez’s 8705 Taline Circle Austin, TX 78748 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
