
Shane and Sean    I want to let you know I'll be thinking about and praying for you.



Over the years, I have often thought about Dave and the many years we worked together---IRS--of course. I will never forget his quick smile and especially the twinkle in his eye...whenever playing a trick or telling a joke. I never had the pleasure to meet you, Sean and Shane, but be assured I feel like I have known you forever...you were truely the apple of your dad's eye. Honor his memory and know you are in our thoughts and prayers.



Sean & Shane,    We are saddened by your loss and hope the fondest memories fill your hearts always. We remember his fondness for gardening and of course his love for you both. Please accept our most heart felt sympathy.



My condolences go out to Dave's family.  Dave worked hard and believed in doing his best.  He taught me more than any other manager; what impact our actions had on the organization and taxpayer; always be one step ahead; be proactive; make no excuses.  He was kind and thoughtful.  I often remember the time he loaned me the "mosine" for my daughter's 16th birthday.  I am proud to have been associated with him.  He will be missed.



My heart felt condolences go out to all of Dave's family and friends.    I had the oppurtunity to work with Dave for a number of years at the IRS in Austin. A part of what I am today and my success is because of Dave. I spent many early morning hours planning the day to process thousands of pieces of mail only to start fresh the next day. He was demanding but gave just as much back. I honestly believe that Dave left a part of himself with everyone that worked with him or just saw him in the halls. His brisk walk and endearing smile left its mark wherever he went.    My prayers go out to his family and friends.     THANKS DAVE!    Roger Spence

I am so sorry to hear of Dave's passing.  We worked together for many years and he was willing to help out in any way he could and always had a joke or story to tell.  Since his retirement, we would run into each other at the store or he'd see me walking my dog on Escarpment and stop to talk, usually about his sons or his horses or dogs.    My thoughts are with those he loved and those who loved him.  I too will miss him.



Maggie and I wanted to express our deepest sympathies to you and your family on your loss.  Our prayers and thoughts are with you now and in the future.  Please don't hesitate to call us for anything you need.



So many fond memories come to my mind this morning. I know that is what David would want for us all. He was one of the most generous and kind people I have ever known. He loved his family unconditionally. The last time we spoke he couldn't resist updating me on the entire family, the horses, the dog, and of course, Sean and Shane. He was so proud of you Sean and Shane....you brought him great joy in his life. I will always think of him when I see a beautiful garden.....My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
